1 contrast. Contrast is actually the ratio of the maximum brightness value divided by the minimum brightness value, which represents the color level that the LCD can display. Nowadays, touch-based devices are increasingly used in professional fields such as education and training, and users are increasingly demanding contrast. The "Code for the Construction of Multimedia Teaching Environment Engineering", which was drafted by the Ministry of Education and approved by the Xiwo brand, indicates that the LCD contrast is generally between 1000:1 and 1600:1. Another concept here is dynamic contrast, which refers to the contrast value measured in some specific cases, usually three times the contrast. At present, the display screens of well-known brands such as Xiwo have a dynamic contrast ratio of more than 4000:1, which fully meets the needs of most users. Some products claim to increase the dynamic contrast ratio to tens of thousands to one hundred thousand to one by adjusting the brightness of the backlight. In practice, it does not make much sense.

2 brightness. The liquid crystal itself does not emit light, so the maximum brightness of the LCD is usually dependent on the backlight. Now the backlights mainly include cold cathode ray tubes and LED diodes. For the LCD, the screen of the first-grade specification can reach 350cd/m2 or more, which fully complies with the regulations of the effective brightness of 300cd/m2 in the Code. If the brightness is too low, the screen will be dark. It should be noted that in actual use, the brightness is not as high as possible, the display brightness is too high, and it is easy to use visual fatigue for a long time.

3 response time. Response time is the speed at which an LCD pixel responds to an input signal. The response time is too long and there is a drag when displaying a moving image. The typical LCD display response time is between 20 and 30ms. With the continuous improvement of technology, the display response time of brands such as Xiwo has been controlled at around 5.5ms, which has improved the drawback of traditional touch integrated devices.

Of course, there are other important factors that determine the display performance of the touch-enabled unit.

LCD card driver technology is a very important one. In operation, the liquid crystal drive uses an electric field to change the state of the liquid crystal, controls how much light penetrates, and has a negative correlation between voltage and light penetration. Therefore, the liquid crystal drive plays a role of controlling the brightness of the light by the height of the voltage applied to the liquid crystal. The LCD screen with higher technical parameters still has to rely on the LCD card driver to achieve perfect display. In this technology, Chinese companies have done a very good job. Today, the world's largest LCD card driver independent design company is from China's CVT Group.

Another key technology is the way the signal is transmitted. The same display, using HDMI full digital high-definition transmission, can greatly reduce the damage and distortion of the video signal in the transmission, compared to the VGA analog signal transmission, there will be very big difference in display color and dynamic effects. At present, domestic brands such as Xiwo can transmit signals through HDMI.

In summary, the display effect of the LCD in the touch integrated machine depends not only on its own technical parameters, but also on the liquid crystal card drive and signal transmission technology. Only in these two areas can achieve a higher level of product, in order to provide users with the best presentation and viewing experience.
